The New Exporter Development Program (NEDP) is for small and medium-sized Australian businesses that are either new to export or have limited experience in exporting. Delivered by Austrade and TradeStart, the program gives participants the best possible start to exporting by providing a wide range of services, including advice and information about getting into export, export coaching and assistance on the ground in foreign markets.
The Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) scheme is the Australian Government's principal financial assistance program for aspiring and current exporters. The scheme is administered by Austrade and is aimed at encouraging small and medium sized Australian businesses to develop export markets by reimbursing up to 50 per cent of eligible export promotion expenses above a threshold of $15,000.
