Local businesses have a significant role to play in the effort to save water. Despite floods in Queensland and other States, Victoria is still experiencing drought conditions and water efficiency is now a critical issue for the whole community.
Even if the drought ended tomorrow, it is simply good business to be efficient in the use of water, energy or any other input to your operations.
But where do you go to find out how to make your business 'water smart'? A range of equipment manufacturers, government agencies and water authorities have their own web sites, however wading through all that information can be a daunting challenge.
This site covers a range of water saving resources, products, tips and links. The Product Library section lists a diverse range of water and energy conserving products that are commercially available. It also provides information on Australian companies that manufacture, import or distribute these products.
If you have implemented any water saving initiatives at your business, or made any other environmentally sensitive changes, please let us know so we can tell other local firms about it.
