Wallets Past Windows Retailing Series 17 September

Published: 17 Sep 2012

We all know that the way people shop has changed.  What are the implications for those in the middle of these changes - small retailers?

The City of Kingston is pleased to invite you to its 2012 retailing series ‘wallets past windows’.

Retail specialist, Greg Davis, who is an expert in consumer behaviour and customer markets, will facilitate a series of sessions to assist small businesses in Kingston's strip shopping centres weather the changes and thrive in the new shopping environment.

Starting in June 2012, the City will host six informal discussions over six months, where you will be able to gauge your business performance and operations and develop strategies to grow your business.

Each discussion will be facilitated by Greg, an experienced retail economist specialising in consumer behaviour, customer markets and retail performance.

He will guide you through a range of issues influencing your business and your centre and identify ideas and opportunities to help guide your business through these tough economic times.

The series is yet another initiative the City of Kingston is providing for its small business sector operating across its network of main streets and town centres, and reflects the City’s recognition of the importance retailers play in the delivery of goods, services and amenity which creates a strong sense of place to its local communities.

These sessions are tailored specifically to your centres and your businesses and offer detailed information and analysis to assist your business.

Dates and times are as follows.  The cost of each session is $20.  However, if you book all 6 sessions, you will only pay $100.
